Great Pictures Under the Sea: Buy Waterproof Digital Cameras
Being a certified scuba diver, I love to go beneath the surface of the ocean and look at a whole different world than what we see everyday. The sea-life, shapes, colors, terrains, and everything about it is so marvelous and yet so mysterious. Words cannot describe the wonders of the world beneath the sea, so I made the decision to buy waterproof digital cameras. I wanted to take snapshots of this unbelievable world to share with my friends and family. But I never would have guessed that there was so much I can do when buying a camera like this!
How deep will you go? What is the temperature of the water? How much battery life do you want? Do you want to take a video? All of these questions and more had to be answered. Many are directed towards the professional or wannabe pro underwater photographer; however, I just wanted a basic camera.
I love to swim within the reef and look at the beautifully colored fish, and try to find Nemo. You can’t believe what you’ll see when you stick your head under the surface. After listening to the salesman stammer on about cameras that were well out of my price range, I decided to delay the buying of a state of the art camera, and buy a case that goes over my basic digital camera. A friend recommended this to me, so I decided to give it a try. This plastic case is only good for low depths, but the results have been amazing so far, and I take it every time that I go on a dive!
If you’re looking at buying a camera for an underwater expedition, make sure you think long and hard about it! There is something for everyone; you just need to know what you want and what you are looking for.
